Fr. Ted is a 1989 graduate of the Virginia Theological Seminary, and served parishes in Greenville and Hartsville, SC, and Augusta GA before becoming Rector of Christ Church in June 2011. Fr. Ted believes that God intends Christ Church to grow to become a large church for the purpose of transforming many lives within and beyond the parish. While caring for God’s people, his ministry passions include preaching the Gospel and teaching the faith – a favorite Bible verse is Acts 20:24. Ted is married to Katherine and their two daughters are Beverly and Anne Lawton.

Judith has her Master's in Social Work and was ordained a Deacon in 2002. She has worked as Deacon and Welcoming Ministries Director at Christ Church since 2006. She is in charge of all Visitors Ministries and helping new comers and new members become an integral part of the Christ Church family. As Deacon she is committed to bringing the needs of the world to the church and involving the church in the needs of the world. She holds dear in her heart Matthew 25:35-40 and Micah 6:8. In her spare time she mostly continues to do the work God has called her to do as Deacon and a Spiritual Director and also loves and cares for her family.

Cheralaine has been in her position at Christ Church since September 2007. Previous to working at the church, she spent 19 years in the mortgage business. She has a Business Degree from USC with an emphasis on Marketing and Finance. Responsibilities cover all business aspects of running the church, facilities, finances and personnel. She oversees the day to day operations of our 40,000+square feet on over 30 acres of real estate. Cheralaine and her husband John have been members of Christ Church since 1992 and have raised their two daughters Natalie and Regan at this place "where more may come to see his face."

Katy is a 2009 graduate of Clemson University where she majored in Graphic Communications with a minor in Business Administration. She has worked at Christ Church since August 2010. Some of her responsibilities at Christ Church include Sunday bulletins, online communications, and preparing printed materials. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her husband, Clay, and their three rescue dogs on their family's sailboat.

Kim moved to Mount Pleasant 6 years ago with her three awesome children; Blake, Austin, and Catie. She has a degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting. She joined the Christ Church staff in September 2008 as the bookkeeper and Assistant to the Parish Administrator. She is responsible for the oversight of the financials, payroll, and human resources. She works closely with Parish Administrator and assists the Day School and various outreach volunteers with their ongoing bookkeeping needs.

Lorna Barker has a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin Wallace, a Master of Music degree from Syracuse University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. All her degrees are in piano performance. She has worked at Christ Church since October of 1990. Her responsibilities include playing the piano and organ for all services, rehearsing and directing the choir for Sunday worship and outreach concerts, arranging music for outside musicians and rehearsing and directing the praise band for Sunday worship. She is married and has a blended family of four children.

Darrin was born in Charleston, SC and raised in West Ashley. He met his wife Lesley and got married in 1999. They have 3 Children. Carson (2005), Anna Claire (2008) and Meredith (2010). He became our Director of Youth and College Ministries in June 2012. He worked in youth ministries for nine years within the Diocese of South Carolina prior to coming to Christ Church. His greatest goal is to bring Students to Christ through biblical teaching and preparing them to lead future generations in a biblical lifestyle.

Robin Quick is the wife of Joe and mom to Ryan and Brady. A member of Christ Church since 2001, Robin joined the Children's Ministry Team in January 2005 and became its Director in April 2007. As a disciple of Christ, her greatest wish is to make disciples of others, and she is blessed to serve Christ Church in this capacity.

Colette and her family have been members of Christ Church since 2005. She has been working as a member of the Children's Ministry Team since April 2011. She is primarily responsible for administrative support to the Director of Children's Ministry. If she is not at church she is likely writing or taking one of her three children to a soccer practice, lacrosse, game, or tennis match.

Ellen is a Lowcountry native with graduate degrees in both education and school administration. Since joining the Christ Church team in 2004, she has directed Christ Church Day School and is passionate about providing young children in our community an exceptional education based on a solid Christian foundation. She considers it a blessing and a privilege to serve the children, parents, and teaching staff of CEDS. When Ellen is not busy with the Day School, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, reading, and rollerblading.
