Ted McNabb became rector of Christ Episcopal Church in November of 1998.  He was born in 1951 and raised in Nashville , TN.   Ted received his B.A. in English from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1973 and M. Div. From Virginia Theological Seminary in 1978.  Ordained a deacon in 1978 and a priest in 1979, he has over 26 years experience in ministry.  Ted has served as Associate Rector of Grace-St Luke’s, Memphis , TN. , and as Rector of Advent Summer, Mississippi , and Trinity, Pinopolis , South Carolina

 In addition to parish leadership, Ted has become nationally known for his music ministry.  A guitarist, lyricist, and composer, he has released four recordings.  He has led workshops, parish retreats, and helped staff numerous conferences around the country.  Much of his work has been in the area of “teaching concerts” and helping integrate a solid vision of “renewal” music into the main fabric of the Episcopal worship experience.

Ted and his wife, Annetta, have two children, Tay and Elizabeth.  They also have three dogs and a cat.  He enjoys golf, hunting, computers, working in his workshop, and ale making.  Copies of Ted’s recordings are available in the office and can be shipped worldwide.
