Cross-Generational Class Wednesday Mornings • Beginning September 12 9:30-11am • Parlor Led by Marcia Slott This class is for women of all ages who are looking for an in-depth study experience. Some "homework" is required to fully realize the lessons and participate in the group discussion. Our fall study is Lies Women Believe by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. We have all experienced defeats and failures, trouble and turmoil. We have all experienced a selfish heart, a shrewish spirit, anger, envy and bitterness. And we ache to do things over, to have lives of harmony and peace. In Lies Women Believe, DeMoss exposes those areas of deception most commonly believed by Christian women:
Lies About God: God is not really enough.
Lies About Themselves: I should have to live with unfulfilled longings.
Lies About Sin: I cannot walk in consistent victory over sin.
Lies About Their Emotions: I can't control my emotions.
Lies About Their Circumstances: I just can't take anymore.
DeMoss sheds light on how we can be delivered from bondage and set free to walk in God's grace, forgiveness, and abundant life. This book offers the most defective weapon to counter and overcome Satan's deceptions - God's TRUTH.
The cost for materials for the class is $28. If this would be a financial burden, please contact Marcia Slott.
