Rooted & Flourishing in Christ's Love

"They are planted in the house of the Lord; they flourish in the courts of our God. They still bring forth fruit in old age, they are ever full of sap and green, to show that the Lord is upright; he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him."
Psalm 92:13-15

April 13 (SAT. - 8am-2pm)
Speaker - Natasha Crain – Author and expert on defending the Christian faith and articulating a Christian world view

Natasha Crain, nationally known author and Christian apologist will spend the day teaching participants how to defend the Christian faith in our secular culture and how to confidently articulate a Christian world view. A catered box lunch will be served.

Spiritual Growth
Bloom’s 2023-24 year will be centered around "Equipping Women to Lovingly Defend the Faith." To that end, all Christ Church Anglican women are invited to take part in a year-long study of Natasha Crain’s newest book, Faithfully Different: Regaining Biblical Clarity in a Secular Culture. Books will be available for $5 at the Bloom table on September 10 at Connect Sunday and at the September Bloom Gathering. If you are not already in an organized small group with whom you can study the book, contact Deacon Joyce Harder (jharder@christch.org), who will organize new groups.

In Faithfully Different, author and apologist Natasha Crain shares how you can live out your faith with conviction, discernment, and courage. You’ll be equipped to

  • identify and respond to today’s most significant worldview pressures, such as cancel culture, secular social justice, progressive Christianity, deconstruction, virtue signaling, and more
  • engage effectively with a world that ridicules biblical truths
  • defend your faith from misguided influences and live as a bold witness for the Lord

As the standards of our day mutate and devolve, Faithfully Different will give you the insight and encouragement you need to believe, think, and live biblically no matter what you face in these turbulent times.

While the book study will be ongoing, Bloom has a wonderful monthly line-up of speakers and events.

Prayer
A Bloom prayer e-chain Women who wish to participate as Prayer Warriors will be able to opt-in by contacting Katy Hunter at khunter@christch.org. Women who participate do so with the understanding that all prayer topics must remain strictly confidential. That means that there should be no discussion with anyone else, including your spouse, and one should never approach the person being prayed for, even with the best of intentions. Simply appeal to the Throne of Grace.

Bloom Prayer Team This group will consist of women who feel specifically called to meet regularly and pray for God to bless the Bloom ministry at Christ Church.

Service
