Get Involved

FIX-IT

• Partner with Christ Church parishioners and others from the community to build wheelchair ramps and perform home repairs.
• Anyone is welcome to participate. Those with carpentry and construction skills are especially needed.

HALOS

• Helping underprivileged children in the Lowcountry.
• Christ Church supports 10 children every summer for a camp that keeps children off the streets and continuing their education.
• Every Christmas, we have a HALOS "Tree" where the congregation is invited to sponsor a child for Christmas gifts for children. 
• An annual Back to School Drive invites the congregation to sponsor a child in order to provide needed school supplies or by providing to the general school supply drive.

International Mission Relationship

The Christ Church Anglican Tree Church Project

An ongoing partnership with the
​Anglican Diocese of Marsabit, Kenya
"Better together for Christ"

Our Annual Goal is to raise $20,000 to fund the building of a church (or other ministry structure) where no adequate one exists: some congregations were meeting under a tree, hence the project's name.

To date churches have been built in Game, Elebor, Maikona, Goro Rukesa, Badassa and Laisamis.  In addition, multiple diocesan Guest Houses have been built, the guest fees of which support the ministries in the Tree Churches. Funds have also been given for humanitarian aid during the recent severe drought.
