The music ministry of Christ Church Anglican aims to sing God’s word, teach the truth of the gospel, and praise God in a manner fitting to his glory. We do this by careful selection of texts, rehearsal of music, and emphasis on the congregation’s corporate voice in every service. Not only does music enhance our worship, Christ Church Anglican is well-known for its outreach through music. The Christ Church Anglican Choir has recorded two CDs; performed at Piccolo Spoleto, Carnegie Hall, the Biltmore Estate; and local community events. Christ Church Anglican has hosted the East Cooper Concert Series, which showcased local and national artists.

ADULT CHOIR

We rehearse every Wednesday 6:15 to 7:45pm and sing regularly for the Sunday service, seasonal services, and concerts. Trained musicians as well as those who are eager to learn are welcome from high school age and up. Recordings and extra rehearsals are available for those who desire more practice.

INSTRUMENTALISTS

We rehearse every Wednesday from 8 - 9pm and play regularly in the Sunday service. Instrumentalists are welcome to participate weekly or occasionally. In addition to leading congregational singing, instrumentalists offer solo and ensemble preludes, meditations, and postludes. Chord charts or arranged music will be provided for your instrument.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Children (5K–5th grade) are invited to discover the joy of music as they learn to read music, play chimes, and share their gifts in worship on select Sunday mornings. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 3:45–4:45pm at the Church Office.
