"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." -Colossians 3:16
The music ministry of Christ Church aims to sing God’s word, teach the truth of the gospel, and praise God in a manner fitting to his glory. We do this by careful selection of texts, rehearsal of music, and emphasis on the congregation’s corporate voice in every service. Not only does music enhance our worship, Christ Church is well-known for its outreach through music. The Christ Church Choir has recorded two CDs, performed multiple times at Piccolo Spoleto and the Biltmore Estate, and regularly performs community concerts. The Christ Church Praise Band regularly leads Nights of Worship . Christ Church hosts the East Cooper Concert Series, the Mount Pleasant Symphony Orchestra, as well as other local and touring artists.
Christ Church Members are invited to join one of our musical teams!
